 In November, over 30 young people from Benarty and Lochgelly attended the "Sounds Right" event at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange. The event was organised by young Scots to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. |

Ten young people from Lochgelly High School took part in our Alternative Curriculum Project which is run in partnership with Fife Council's Community Learning & Development. The young people took part in a variety of different activities i.e. orienteering, teambuilding activities etc. The group also attended a three day residential experience in Edinburgh. The group are all trying to achieve a bronze youth achievement award.

TIBAL has a new Mini bus!! So far we have used the bus for our summer events, our alternative curriculum programme and for our youth clubs. |

Our Edge Manager David Smith and our Personal Development Coordinator Mark Hutchison took part in the 2009 Moonwalk which commenced on Saturday 20th June at Midnight. Over 10,000 people (mostly women took part in the event which raises money for Breast Cancer. They completed the "Half Moon" which is 13.1 miles through Edinburgh City Centre. They finished in 3.5 hours. Well done!! Carolone Gallacher our Face to Face Worker designed the bras that the boys wore on the night - I am sure you will agree David looks really fetching!!! |

The Elderly Befriending project took two 80 plus ladies and their befrienders to lunch at Pettycur Bay. As a birthday treat the ladies were given flowers, a cards and a small present. A memory photograph taken on the day was later framed and now enjoy pride of place in their homes.
